Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Thursday raised objections over the upcoming judgement scheduled to be delivered by Justice James Omotosho in his terrorism trial.
Justice Omotosho is expected to hand down the ruling later this morning.
Although the court had permitted Kanu to make submissions after the case was called and legal appearances were taken, Kanu insisted that he had already filed a motion on November 12. In that motion, he asked the court to refer what he described as significant constitutional questions arising from his trial to the Court of Appeal.
More details are expected soon…
