His Highness, Engr. Ajibade Ismail Nosiru Ayeni, Eletu Odibo of Lagos

The Eletu Odibo Chieftaincy Family of Lagos, Abule Oja and Abule Ijesha, has announced the official capping and installation of His Highness, Engr. Ajibade Ismail Nosiru Ayeni, as the Eletu Odibo of Lagos.
According to a statement issued by the family, the traditional installation ceremony will take place at Enu Owa Square, opposite Ilupesi Town Hall, Isale Eko, Lagos Island, on Friday 16th January 2026 and is scheduled to commence promptly at 8:00 a.m.

The installation marks a significant milestone in the history of the Eletu Odibo Chieftaincy Institution, a first-class respected traditional office deeply rooted in the cultural and historical heritage of Lagos.
The family noted that the ceremony underscores the continuity of tradition, leadership, and service to the people of Isale Eko and Lagos at large.
A reception in honour of the new Eletu Odibo will follow later in the day at the IGA Eletu Odibo Palace, located at No. 51 Ashogbon Street, Isale Eko, Lagos, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The Eletu Odibo Chieftaincy Family has extended an invitation to traditional rulers, government officials, community leaders, stakeholders, and members of the public to witness and celebrate the historic occasion.
