The scheme offers grants ranging from ₦10,000 to ₦100,000 to help beneficiaries establish or strengthen micro-businesses such as small retail trading and basic service provision. The objective is to improve access to start-up capital for entrepreneurs who require modest funding to generate sustainable income.
What the Grant Offers
Successful applicants may receive financial support within the approved funding range to:
- Launch new petty trading businesses
Strengthen or expand existing small enterprises - Increase working capital for day-to-day operations
- The programme features a simplified application process with minimal documentation requirements, and business registration is not mandatory.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 55 years old
- Reside in Nigeria
- Currently operate a small business or have a clearly defined business idea
- Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN) slip
- Provide one referee’s contact details
- Have a verifiable residential address
- Own a valid 10-digit Nigerian bank account number
- Accurately complete and submit the application form

Applicants are required to complete the official application form by providing personal and business details. All information must be entered carefully, as corrections may not be permitted after submission. Multiple entries are discouraged and may result in disqualification.
Following submission, shortlisted candidates may be contacted for verification or additional clarification. Approved beneficiaries will be notified once screening has been concluded and funds are ready for disbursement.
